Traditional Chinese medicine holds that there are 365 commonly used acupuncture points on 20 meridians on the human body. In 1996, the FDA gave acupuncture its first U.S. seal of approval, when it classified acupuncture needles as medical devices. In the 20 years since, study after study indicates that, yes, acupuncture can work.

TCM Beauty Treatment

Facial acupuncture, the reportedly safer alternative to surgery or Botox. This cosmetic treatment is an extension of traditional acupuncture. It’s said to naturally help make the skin look younger, smoother, and all-around healthier. And unlike injection procedures, facial acupuncture addresses not only signs of aging, but also the skin’s overall health. By observing the skin condition plus taking the pulse, asking in-depth questions, and observing the tongues, TCM doctors can give a diagnosis and treatment for most skin complaints. Acupuncture and Chinese herbs treat skin disease in a unique manner. TCM usually treat both the cause and the symptoms.

The intention is to warm and invigorate the flow of Qi in the body and dispel certain pathogenic influences. Used in combination with acupuncture in the event of inducing pregnancy or can work best for turning breech babies as well as for pain that is worse when there is exposure to cold or damp weather, as with some types of arthritis pain and menstrual cycle pain. When applied to acupuncture points that strengthen and lift the Qi, moxibustion can boost the immune system and help with fatigue, digestive issues, and much more.

Acupuncture facial is usually paired with Jadestone sculpting, a therapy that involves using ancient Jade to smooth over specific areas of the face repeatedly. Tapping into the calming properties and revitalizing positive energy of Jadestone itself, together with the skilled techniques of smoothing over the appropriate areas of the face, this therapy can help bring about the lifting of the face, clearing of pigmentations and water retention, and ultimately even reshaping the face to its ‘golden ratio’, making one look younger, more chiseled and charismatic. Acupuncture & Tuina Combo

Tuina is used in cases of extreme physical trauma. The term tui na (pronounced “twee naw”), which literally means “pinch and pull,” refers to a wide range of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) therapeutic manipulation and bodywork. Tuina is not generally used for pleasure and relaxation, but rather as a treatment to address specific patterns of disharmony or injury. Used to treat pain and illness, or to maintain good health. The technique is effective in reducing stress, encouraging relaxation, and deepening sleep. It’s often used for conditions and injuries related to the musculoskeletal and nervous systems. Best results if used in combination with acupuncture to obtain optimum results.
